Areas of Expertise/Research interest:

Lakhwinder Singh is an Assistant Professor in the School of Physical and Chemical Sciences of the Central University of South Bihar. He is actively participating in the research program TEXONO (Taiwan Experiment On NeutrinO), Taiwan; China Dark Mater EXperiment (CDEX), China; Large Enriched Germanium Experiment for Neutrinoless Double-Beta Decay (LEGEND), Germany. Dr. Lakhwinder Singh works in the field of Low Energy Neutrino Physics, Dark Matter Physics, Detector Development, and Data Acquisition System. Before joining Central University of South Bihar he was in the Institute of Physics, Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan as Postdoctoral Fellow and pursuing research program on low energy neutrino interactions at the “Kuo-ShengNeutrino Laboratory (KSNL)” with TEXONO Collaboration, achieved world- recognized results on neutrino magnetic moment, neutrino millicharged, the measurements of the neutrino-electron cross-section and electro-weak parameters in new (MeV) momentum-transfer regions, as well as low mass dark matter searches. Dr. Singh is proficient in both detector hardware and data analysis software. He has served as the KSNL run-coordinator in several periods, and also coordinate the offline large scale computing, with expertise in neural network algorithms. He has made significant contributions to advance the low-threshold germanium detector program, credited as key authors in several publications in peer-reviewed international journals like Phys. Rev. Letts., Phys. Rev. D, Physics Letters B, and Nucl. Instrum. Methods Phys. Res., A. He is well-exposed during his Ph.D. and postdoctoral period, presented experimental results at several major international conferences, as well as representing Academia Sinica, Taiwan in the 10th HOPE Meeting with Nobel Laureates in Japan in 2018.
