CUSB Life Science students selected for CSIR and NET LS 2016
Driven towards academic excellence and accomplishment, Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) has another feather into its cap, as Six students of MSc Life Science programme of the University succeeded in qualifying for the prestigious CSIR NET LS/JRF in July 2016. Three students from previous batch of the MSc Life Science have qualified for CSIR NET JRF fellowship which include Fauzia Parween (All India Rank-32), Khushboo Sinha (AIR-67) and Monalisa (AIR-98). The fellowship amount is Rs. 27,000/- pm to provide the financial support to student during PhD programme. Three students, Shaileshanand Jha, Aditi Arora and Shweta Raj; currently in MSc 3rd semester have qualified for CSIR NET-LS (Lectureship).
Faculty of Life Science Programme are doctorate from top rank central universities of India. The programme is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories. Those altogether provide a platform to nurture students’ thinking to observe, analyze, interpret and utilize the biological techniques and phenomena in basic as well as applied fields. Many students pass out of this programme are perusing PhD in prestigious institutes like IISc Bangalore, South Asian University Delhi etc. CUSB Vice-Chancellor Prof. Harish Chandra Singh Rathore along with faculty members applauded students on their achievement and given best wishes.
