CUSB Biotech students crack CSIR JRF - NET
The students of biotechnology programme of Centre for Biological Sciences (CBS) of Central University of South Bihar crack the prestigious CSIR- JRF and NET (Lectureship) exam held in the month of June 2017. Altogether five students of biotech department succeeded in the CSIR JRF – NET examination. Priyaragini who got enrolled in Biotechnology Programme for Ph.D in March 2017 at CUSB cleared CSIR-JRF with AIR 53, while Asha Sahu a M.Sc Biotechnology also cleared CSIR-JRF. Three more students namely Archana, Mukund and Priyanka Shaw have cleared NET (Lectureship).
Dr Rizwanul Haque, Head of CBS congratulated the successful students. He stressed on the fact that overall performance of the students can further be improved by reading textbook and reference book of biotechnology/Life Science. Dr Rakesh Kumar, Coordinator of Biotechnology program feels that academic atmosphere is very good at CUSB which helps the student in clearing the National Level Examination.
