CUSB students win "RBI Policy Challenge" contest
A team of students from the department of Economics of Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) wins the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Policy challenge competition. The team of students of M.A. Economics comprising of Atul Kumar, Sheo Rama and Anjana won the regional round under the guidance of Mr. Atish Kumar Dash (Assistant Professor of Economics). This is the second time in a row that the team from Central University of South Bihar has been declared as winner in the regional round.
Providing details Mr. Dash said that the team won the Regional Round (Patna, Bihar Region) of ‘The RBI Policy Challenge – 2019’. Their essay on the topic “Banking Sector in India: Challenges and Opportunities” was adjudged as the best essay by the Jury. Adding further he said that the team will participate in the Zonal Round Competition in Kolkata on 1st February 2019. The zonal round has a presentation on the latest Financial Stability Report of RBI. Winner of Zonal Round will participate at Mumbai in the National Round. Regional and Zonal Round Winners will be awarded cash prizes. The winning team in the National Round shall be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 1.00 lakh and the opportunity to intern with RBI for a period up to 3 months.
