CUSB VC attended the Programme on One year of Transformative Reforms under NEP 2020 organised by the Ministry of Education (MoE)
The Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) Vice-Chancellor Prof. K. N. Singh attended the live streaming of the programme on One year of Transformative Reforms under National Education Policy, 2020 organised by Union Ministry of Education (MoE). Special arrangements were made for the live streaming at the conference room of CUSB for the programme started at 04.30 pm on 29 July, 2021. The Registrar of CUSB Col. Rajiv Kumar Singh, Deans of various schools and Heads of various departments joined the live streaming session.
On this occasion, Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi announced the formal launch of several schemes related to NEP. While addressing the academicians and representatives from higher educational institutions, PM Modi launched 10 new schemes in the area of education. The announcement were made for schemes namely, Vidya Pravesh, Academic Bank of Credit, First-year engineering programmes in regional languages, Guidelines for the internationalisation of higher education, Indian sign language as a subject at secondary level, NISHTHA 2.0, SAFAL (structured assessment for analysing learning levels), 'AI For All' initiative, National Digital Education Architecture (NDEAR) and National Education Technology Forum (NETF).
It may be noted that CUSB is committed to fully implement the National Policy on Education (NEP), 2020 in its curriculum very soon. To implement the NEP, the CUSB Vice Chancellor is working on this plan with the concerned officials of the University.
