CUSB vows to make new India by 2022
The Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) took the ‘New India Pledge’ at all its three campuses (two temporary campuses at Patna & Gaya, wherein academics is running and the permanent campus at Panchanpur, wherein administration is functional. The pledge taking ceremony was organised under the academic and administrative leadership of CUSB Vice-Chancellor Prof. Harish Chandra Singh Rathore.
The pledge was taken at 9:30 AM as per the guidelines received Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) to celebrate 70 years of India’s Independence and 75 years of Quit India Movement, named as ‘Sankalp Se Siddhi’ (New India Movement 2017-2022) the event (pledge) witnessed enthusiastic participation by students, faculty and staff of the University. The participants gathered at one place and took the pledge under the guidance of Prof. Arun Kumar Sinha (Professor-in-Charge) and Prof. Prabhat Kumar Singh (Professor- in - Charge) at Patna and Gaya campuses respectively. While at Panchanpur, the permanent campus of University the pledge taking ceremony was administered by Controller of Examinations Mrs. Rashmi Tripathi.
The pledge scripted by the Government of India says, “In 1942 our freedom fighters took a pledge of ‘Quit India’ and in 1947 India achieved Independence.
Let us together pledge that by 2022 we build a New India.
Let us together pledge towards a Clean India.
Let us together pledge towards a Poverty free India.
Let us together pledge towards a Corruption free India.
Let us together pledge towards a Terrorism free India .
Let Us together pledge towards a Communalism free India.
Let us together pledge towards a Casteism free India.”
The participants vowed for striving whole heartedly to accomplish this pledge for a New India by the year 2022.
