Dr. Santigopal Pain
Dr. Santigopal Pain – A passionate engineer and educator dedicated to creating impactful solutions through education, administration, research, and technology. Born in Bankura, West Bengal, India, he completed his B.E. from Jalpaiguri Govt Engineering College (University of North Bengal), M.E from Jadavpur University and Ph.D. from NIT Durgapur, India. Dr. Pain has several years of industry experience and over two decades of experience in teaching, with positions like HoD, TIC, Dean etc. along the way. Making an impact on students’ lives through knowledge sharing was his passion. He is an Editor of Journal of Advanced Research in Power Electronics & Power Systems and Technical Committee Member of several International Conferences. He has commendable publications in various National and International Journals and Conferences. Dr. Pain has leveraged his experience as a reviewer of various Journals and Conferences of both National and International repute. Engineering enthusiast and researcher, Dr. Pain, has a passion for exploring the application of soft-computing techniques in Power System and Control System.
Established under the Central Universities Act, 2009 (Section 25 of 2009) as Central University of Bihar (CUB) and the name since changed by the Central Universities (Amendment) Act, 2014 to Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) is an institution of higher learning in the state of Bihar.
