CUSB student Manish cracks 64th BPSC with 221 Rank, gets Revenue Officer Post

Manish Kumar, a student of MA Political Science & International Relations (2019-21 batch) of CUSB has cracked the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) 64th Combined Competitive Examination, the results of which were announced on 06th June, 2021 (Sunday). A meritorious student of Dept. of Political Studies of Central University of South Bihar (CUSB), Manish secured the post of Revenue Officer with 221 (General Rank). Ironically, this was the 1st attempt of Manish in BPSC Exam.
Manish originally hails from Kusre Mathiya village of Arwal district. Manish said that ‘CUSB played very instrumental role in my interview preparation as the department conducted mock interviews which helped him a lot.’ Sadly he lost his farmer father Late Parashuram Singh in 2005, and his mother Mrs. Phulpatti Devi looked after Manish who was only 13 years old that time. “The role of my mother was very crucial in my career as she took care of our house’s kitchen and met our expenses as well”, said an elated Manish who is only brother among four sisters.
Manish did his matriculation from Government High School Kurtha, 12th from Gaya College and Graduation from TS Chanakya, Mumbai during 2010-2014. In 2014 he joint Merchant Navy as third officer and worked with Maersk line (Denmark) upto 2018. Further he left job to pursue higher studies and got himself enrolled in CUSB for MA Political Science.
