Dr. Pranav Kumar is at present Professor, Department of Political Studies, Central University of South Bihar. He qualified for UGC-NET in the subject Politics in Dec 1999 and is a recipient of Jawaharlal Memorial Fellowship for his doctoral studies. He got his MA in Politics (with specialization on International Relations) from School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, and got his MPhil, PhD, both from African Studies, Centre for West Asian and African Studies, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Prior to his current position, he was working as Assistant Professor-Senior Scale at Department of Political Studies, Central University of South Bihar, and at Department of Geopolitics and International Relations, Manipal University, Manipal, Karnataka. He has had a stint as Assistant Professor at Hawassa University, Ethiopia. He also taught at Delhi University and NRAI, New Delhi.
