Dr. Singh’s active professional involvement reflects in his life membership of a number of Library Associations and Learned Bodies in India; viz ILA, IASLIC, JILA and Library Association of Bihar. His commitment towards profession and intellectual abilities has engaged him in various higher learning institutions of national repute and other national level bodies as an expert member. Dr. Singh has also been associated with National Library Kolkata and Bihar Govt.as a member of book selection / collection development committee. In pursuit of professional excellence, Dr. Singh has visited more than forty five Universities, IITs and College libraries in India. He participated and presented number of papers in National and International Conferences/Seminars and passionately spread his professional knowledge throughout the country by delivering invited talks; and he wrote more than forty papers in Journals/Conference proceedings of National and International level. He has to his credit twenty four book/edited book and fifteen books chapters. He has been a keen researcher in the areas of Library Automation on RFID based system, Bibliometric and Webometric analysis, Integration of Core Technology for promoting Library Resources, Use and implementation of e-Services in Library,
