Indian Tricolour hoisted on 100 foot high mast at CUSB
# CUSB is perhaps the 1st University / Educational Institution in Bihar to unfurl the Indian tricolour on 100-foot high pole in its premises
On the auspicious occasion of the 72nd Republic Day, the Indian tricolour was unfurled on a 100 foot high mast ( pole ) at Central University of South Bihar (CUSB). The Indian tricolour measuring 30 foot long and 20 foot wide was hoisted by CUSB Vice-Chancellor Prof. Harish Chandra Singh Rathore. While inaugurating the 100 – foot high Indian tricolour, the VC was accompanied by the Registrar Col. Rajiv Kumar Singh, Dean Student’s Welfare (DSW) Prof. Atish Prashar and Proctor Prof. Kaushal Kishore. The University fraternity comprised of faculty members, officials, staff and students became the witness of the historic moment. Amidst the claps of the gathering pumped with the feeling of patriotism, it took around five minutes to reach the Indian tricolour at the top of the mast. The flag would now wave round the clock in CUSB premises as a big centre of attraction for people in the vicinity. The Indian tricolour hoisted on the occasion of 26th January on a 100-foot high mast (pole) is perhaps the highest flag ever unfurled in any educational institution (University) in Bihar.
After unfurling the Indian tricolour the Vice-Chancellor delivered the Republic Day address before the gathering. Prof. Rathore recalled the recent achievements of the University in the field of academia including the position of University in various rankings. In the short span of 11 years since its establishment in 2009, the University has many achievements to its kitty that are worth to mention here. The way we are moving forward with high zeal and enthusiasm surely CUSB would make its place in top 50 Universities of India. It may be made possible with combined efforts of the entire University fraternity and a favourable environment and infrastructure for quality research. We have the ability to contribute for the growth and development of the country and making India a ‘ Global Leader ’.
Speaking about the infrastructure development work, the Vice-Chancellor said that the 2nd phase of construction would begin most probably by March 2021 if things fall in the right direction. The estimated cost for the second phase of infrastructure development is Rs. 116 crore, which includes the construction of 64 staff quarters, 600 bed hostel, Health Centre, Central Library, Food Court, Shopping Centre and Animal House for research informed the Vice-Chancellor.
Post speech of Vice-Chancellor the prize distribution ceremony was organised in which the best performing employees of the University were awarded. Mr. Kshitiz Singh, Information Scientist and Mr. Dewesh Mishra, Assistant were given best employee award for their outstanding performance round the year. The winners of various competitions organised during Hindi Diwas Pakhwada were also given awards and certificates during the Republic Day celebration by the Vice-Chancellor. After the Republic Day ceremony, the Vice-Chancellor residence was thrown open for the University fraternity for exploring the ‘ Flower Exhibition’, which showcased magnificent flowers.
गणतंत्र दिवस समारोह – सीयूएसबी
# बिहार राज्य में स्तिथ शिक्षण संस्थानों में अपने परिसर में 100 फीट ऊँचे तिरंगे को फहराने वाला सीयूएसबी बनी पहली उच्च शिक्षण संस्थान / यूनिवर्सिटी
दक्षिण बिहार केन्द्रीय विश्वविद्यालय (सीयूएसबी) में 72वें गणतंत्र दिवस के विशेष अवसर पर 100 फीट ऊंचा तिरंगा झंडा फहराया गया जो इस छेत्र के लिए आकर्षण का केंद्र बन गया | 26 जनवरी 2021 को विवि के माननीय कुलपति प्रोफेसर हरिश्चंद्र सिंह राठौर ने कुलसचिव कर्नल राजीव कुमार सिंह के साथ 100 फीट ऊँचे मास्ट (पोल) पर राष्ट्रीय ध्वज को फहराते हुए इसका विधिवत तौर पर उद्घाटन किया | इस ऐतिहासिक पल का डीएसडब्लू प्रोफेसर आतिश पराशर, प्रॉक्टर प्रोफेसर कौशल किशोर के साथ विवि के प्राध्यापकगण, अधिकारीगण, कर्मचारीगण एवं विद्यार्थीगण साक्षी बने | इस विशाल झंडे को अपने सर्वोच्च ऊँचाई तक पहुंचने में करीब 5 मिनट का समय लगा और इस दौरान समारोह स्थल पर मौजूद लोग देशभक्ति के भावना में सराबोर होते हुए तालियाँ बजाते रहे | ज्ञात हो कि सीयूएसबी सिर्फ गया या मगध कमिश्नरी ही नहीं बल्कि पुरे बिहार राज्य में स्तिथ शिक्षण संस्थानों में अपने परिसर में 100 फीट ऊँचे तिरंगे को फहराने वाला संभवतः पहली उच्च शिक्षण संस्थान / यूनिवर्सिटी है | सीयूएसबी में 100 फीट ऊँचे मास्ट पर फहराए गए झंडे की लंबाई 30 फ़ीट जबकि चौड़ाई 20 है और ये अब हमेशा के लिए शान से लहराता रहेगा |
झण्डोत्तोलन के बाद माननीय कुलपति ने अपने संबोधन में समारोह स्थल पर उपस्थिति लोगों को गणतंत्र दिवस की बधाई दी। अपने कार्यकाल के दौरान छठी बार गणतंत्र दिवस पर विश्वविद्यालय के प्रांगण में झंडोतोलन के उपरांत प्रोफेसर राठौर ने विश्वविद्यालय के विकास में सभी के योगदान की प्रशंसा करते हुए कहा सीयूएसबी देश के विकास में योगदान देने वाले मानव संसाधन को पैदा करने के लिए कृतसंकल्प है। भारतीयता को सर्वोपरि रखते हुए ऐसे मानव संसाधन के विकास की जरूरत है जो भारत को आत्मनिर्भर बनाते हुए इसे विश्वगुरु बना सकता है, इस दिशा में विवि के योगदान अतुलनीय होगा। अपनी स्थापना के महज़ 11 वर्षों के छोटे से अंतराल में जिस तरह से विवि का चौतरफा विकास हुआ ये काफी सराहनीय है और मैं आशा करता हूँ कि सीयूएसबी आने वाले वर्षों में देश के सर्वश्रेष्ठ 50 उच्च शिक्षण संस्थानों में अपनी जगह बना सकता है |
माननीय कुलपति ने कहा कि अगर हालात सामान्य रहे तो आगामी मार्च के महीने से विवि के दूसरे चरण के भवन निर्माण कार्य प्रारंभ हो जाएगा | दूसरे चरण के भवन निर्माण की कुल लागत क़रीब 116 करोड़ है और इसमें भवन निर्माण के साथ – साथ पूर्णतः संचालित होने वाले संसाधन क्रमशः वाटर सप्लाई, सीवरेज, बिजली तथा भवनों को जोड़ने वाली सड़कें आदि शामिल हैं | दूसरे चरण के भवन निर्माण में 64 स्टाफ क़्वार्टर, 600 बेड का हॉस्टल, 1 हेल्थ सेंटर, 1 सेंट्रल लाइब्रेरी, फ़ूड कोर्ट (कैफेटेरिया), छोटा शॉपिंग सेंटर एवं शोध के लिए एनिमल हाउस शामिल है |
माननीय कुलपति के भाषण के पश्चात् सितम्बर के महीने में हिंदी दिवस पखवाड़े के अंतर्गत आयोजित विभिन्न प्रतियोगिताओं के विजेताओं को पुरस्कार दिया गया | वहीँ विवि में इस वर्ष से प्रारंभ किए गए बेस्ट एम्प्लॉई अवार्ड के विजेताओं को भी प्रोफेसर राठौर ने पुरुस्कृत किया इनफार्मेशन साइंटिस्ट श्री क्षितिज सिंह को सर्वश्रेष्ठ कर्मचारी का पुरस्कार मिला उनके साथ श्री देवेश मिश्रा को भी बेहतरीन कार्य के लिए सम्मानित किया गया | गणतंत्र दिवस समारोह के समापन के बाद कुलपति आवास में लगाए कई फ्लॉवर एक्जीबिशन (पुष्प प्रदर्शनी) में विभिन्न तरह के मनमोहक फूलों को देखने का मौका मिला |
