Dr. Ambedkar Centre of Excellence (DACE) at Central University of South Bihar
The Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India, through the Dr. Ambedkar Foundation (DAF) has approved for setting up “Dr. Ambedkar Centre of Excellence” (DACE) in 30 Central Universities to coach SC candidates in competitive exams by providing the best of coaching facilities.
Objectives
The scheme for creating Dr. Ambedkar Chairs in various universities/institutions was for befitting tribute to this illustrious son of India and study the present-day relevance of Babasaheb Dr. Ambedkar, which includes the following objectives:
- To excel in the achievement of quality of services for students of scheduled castes.
- To create a corpus of aspiring civil servants who can uphold the virtues of liberty, equality, and fraternity.
- To instill the values of honesty, commitment, and social justice in the enrolled students; and inculcate the culture of serving the nation and the community.
- To prepare a digital library of the relevant lectures (audio/video) of the covered disciplines for the candidates.
