I have significant research contribution in my Ph.D. research topic- 'Legal Protection of Traditional Knowledge and Traditional Cultural Expressions in India-An Appraisal'. Traditional Knowledge is one of the most valuable intellectual properties in our country. But these intellectual property rights are violated by foreign Multinational Companies and other foreigners without taking any permission from the owners of Traditional Knowledge. Our country suffers huge financial losses as a result of that and has become victim of several bio piracies in the past. My research work has suggested various avenues to legally protect Traditional Knowledge and Traditional Cultural Expressions of our country.
