Dr. Manoj Panchal
PhD - Hormone Biochemistry from Delhi University
He completed his master degree in Biosciences and qualified CSIR NET-JRF. After completion of PhD from Delhi University he received DBT-PDF. He further worked as research associate at ICGEB, New Delhi.
Areas of Expertise/Research interest :
One of my areas of interest is to trace the pathway of the protein concentration in secretory vesicles by studying various proteins which interact with the secretory proteins. Pituitary and its protein hormones are taken as model system for secretory proteins.
For a normal functioning and survival of the malaria parasite, Plasmodium falciparum, transporting between nucleus and cytoplasm is compulsory. Importins and exportins are responsible for such transports. Study of the transport in Plasmodium falciparum is another area of interest.
Presently he is PI and Co-PI in two different projects.
He has published his work in various international journals ; Biochimica et Biophysica Acta (2015), Cell Death Dis. (2014), Preparative Biochemistry and Biotechnology (2010), Journal of Immunoassay & Immunochemistry, Clinica Chimica Acta, (2007), Behavioral Brain Reseach (2004).
