Dr. Deo Narayan Singh has joined as an Assistant Professor in School of Law & Governance, Central University of South Bihar, Gaya in the year 2015 on regular basis. He has been awarded Doctorate in Law from Law School, BHU in the year 2016. He was also awarded Doctoral Fellowship by the University Grant Commission, New Delhi. He qualified JRF (UGC) twice and NET (UGC) thrice from 2011 to 2013 consecutively.
He pursued his LL.B. and LL.M. from Law School, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) in 2009 and 2011 respectively. He has secured first Position in Ph.D. Course Work and Fourth Position in LL.M. He has completed his B.A degree with English as Honours subject.
He has also discharged the responsibility of Warden of Boys’ Hostel, CUSB. He has been member of SC/ST Cell in the University. He has also been nominated Nodal Officer by Ministry of Justice, Govt. of India, for making awareness about the Fundamental Duties and Indian Constitution in the locality/Schools/Colleges. He has been nominated as a resource person by District Legal Services Authority, Gaya. He has been instrumental in organizing various academic and other co-curricular programmes in collaboration with several other organizations/bodies. In addition to this, he has also held and discharged the duty of Coordinators of Various Committees of CUSB like Legal Aid Clinic, Youth Parliament, and Moot Court and has been a member of various academic bodies like Board of Studies and Board of Examination of CUSB and some other Universities/Academic Bodies. He continues to hold various key responsibilities of academic nature and is enthusiastic for organizing various academic/co-curricular programmes, as and when it is needed.
He has contributed more than 12 research articles in different national and international journals of repute. He has also two chapters to his credit in edited volumes of books published by renowned publishers. He has participated and presented more than 14 research papers in various national and international Seminars and Conferences. He has also participated in special trainings/workshops on different themes of Consumer Protection Laws, Alternative Disputes Resolution and Legal Research Methodology.
