In one of its kind unique initiatives, the Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) organised 'Krishi Shramyogi – Samrasata Sahabhoj' (Agricultural Laborer – Harmony Community Feast) on the Occasion of the Autumn Harvest. On this occasion, CUSB Vice-Chancellor Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh said that respect for labor within society is an indispensable prerequisite for achieving the goals of a 'Self-Reliant India' (Atmanirbhar Bharat) and a 'Developed India' (Viksit Bharat). It is noteworthy that the Harmony Feast was organized by the faculty members of the Department of Agriculture for the laborers engaged in agricultural work, as a gesture of respect for their efforts. Prof. Singh observed that, currently, there is a growing tendency to view manual labor through a negative lens, and the youth are increasingly becoming averse to physical work, a trend that poses a matter of concern for the future of agriculture. The fundamental spirit and objective behind this 'Harmony Community Feast' is to restore dignity to labor and to foster a sense of equality and affectionate care towards the laborers.

Distinguished guests participating in the 'Harmony Community Feast' included Mahant Shri Pratyānand Ji and Shri Vivekananda Ji from the Shri Shankaracharya Math, Bodh Gaya, as well as Dr. Indresh Kumar, Guide (Convener) of the Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM). Other attendees at the event included CUSB Registrar Prof. Narendra Kumar Rana, Finance Officer Smt. Rashmi Tripathi, Controller of Examinations Dr. Shantigopal Pine, Deputy Proctor Dr. Manglesh Kumar Mangalam, Anti-Ragging Nodal Officer Dr. Javed Ahsan, Deputy Registrars Shri Pratish Kumar Das and Shri Kumar Kaushal, Chief Warden Smt. Renu, Head of the School of Agriculture Prof. Avanish Prakash Singh, Dr. Hemant Kumar Sing, Prof. Ram Ashish Yadav were accompanied by other faculty members and students from the department. In the community feast organized to mark the harvest of the Sharad (autumn) crops, Vice-Chancellor Prof. K.N. Singh honored the agricultural laborers by presenting them with ‘gamchas’ and sarees as gifts. Participating in the community feast, the laborers expressed their delight and conveyed their gratitude.

सीयूएसबी में शारदीय फसलोत्पादन के अवसर पर कृषि श्रमयोगी - समरसता सहभोज का आयोजन

समाज में श्रम के प्रति सम्मान, आत्मनिर्भर भारत एवं विकसित भारत के लक्ष्य की प्राप्ति के लिए अपरिहार्य आवश्यक है | उक्त वक्तव्य दक्षिण बिहार केन्द्रीय विश्वविद्यालय (सीयूएसबी), गया के कुलपति प्रो. कामेश्वर नाथ सिंह ने कृषि एवं विकास संकाय द्वारा आयोजित 'कृषि श्रमयोगी समरसता सहभोज' के अवसर पर दिया | ज्ञातव्य है कि वासंतिक फसलों की प्रक्रियात्मक पूर्बल के अवसर पर  सीयूएसबी परिसर में कृषि कार्य में लगे श्र्मयोगियों के सम्मान में श्रमिकों के साथ कृषि संकाय के शिक्षकों द्वारा समरसता भोज का आयोजन परिसर में किया गया | प्रो. सिंह ने कहा कि आज श्रम को नकारात्मक दृष्टि से देखने की प्रकृति को बढ़ावा मिल रहा है एवं युवा वर्ग भी श्रम से विमुख होता जा रहा है, जो कृषि के भविष्य के लिए चिंता का विषय है | श्रम को प्रतिष्ठित करने एवं श्रमिकों को समता एवं मंमता का भाव जागृत करना ही समरसता सहभोज की भाव - भावना है | 

समरसता सहभोज में सम्मानित अतिथि के रूप पर श्री शंकराचार्य मठ, बोधगया के महंत श्री प्रत्यानन्द जी एवं श्री विवेकानंद जी तथा मुस्लिम राष्ट्रीय मंच (एमआरएम) के मार्गदर्शक (संयोजक) डॉ. इंद्रेश कुमार शामिल हुए | इस कार्यक्रम में सीयूएसबी के कुलसचिव प्रो नरेंद्र कुमार राणा, वित्ताधिकारी श्रीमती रश्मि त्रिपाठी, परीक्षा नियंत्रक डॉ. शांतिगोपाल पाइन, डिप्टी प्रॉक्टर डॉ. मंगलेश कुमार मंगलम, एंटी रैगिंग नोडल ऑफिसर डॉ. जावेद अहसन,  उपकुलसचिव श्री प्रतीश कुमार दास, उपकुलसचिव श्री कुमार कौशल, चीफ वार्डन श्रीमती रेनू, कृषि संकाय के अध्यक्ष प्रो अवनिश प्रकाश, डॉ. हेमंत कुमार, प्रो. राम आशीष यादव के साथ विभाग के अन्य शिक्षक एवं छात्र - छात्राएं मौजूद थे | शारदीय फसलोत्पादन के अवसर पर आयोजित कृषि श्रमयोगी - समरसता सहभोज के अवसर पर कुलपति प्रो के. एन. सिंह ने श्रमयोगियों को गमछा एवं साड़ी उपहारस्वरूप देकर सम्मानित किया | कुलपति महोदय के संरक्षण में आयोजित सहभोज में शामिल होकर श्रमयोगियों ने प्रसन्नता व्यक्त करते हुए आभार प्रकट किया |
