CAMPUS Placement : 19 CUSB students of got job placements with Azim Premji Foundation
A record 19 students from various departments of Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) got placed at prestigious Azim Premji Foundation through campus placement drive. CUSB Public Relation Officer (PRO) cum Placement Coordinator Mohammad Mudassir Alam said that the placement drive was conducted at University campus this past week. A total of 60 students appeared in the final round interview out of which nineteen (19) final year students succeeded in securing the job at an initial package of Rs. 5 (five) lakh per annum. CUSB Vice-Chancellor Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh and Registrar Prof. Narendra Kumar Rana along with the deans, heads and faculty members of other departments have congratulated the final year postgraduate (PG) students on their achievements. VC Prof. K. N. Singh said that it is a matter of happiness for the entire University fraternity and it would surely encourage other students as well. Since Azim Premji Foundation is a prestigious organisation, hence, the growth-prospects for students are bright.

The students selected in the final round for the position of Associate Research Person include Aftab Alam (MA Hindi), Juli Choudhury (MA Hindi), Anuska Chatterjee (MA English), Tushar Raj (MA English), Areena Fatma (English), Sneha Chandra (MSc Biotechnology), Sreyansu Sathpathy (MSc Chemistry), Manish Narayan (MA Economics), Anupama Kumari (MA Economics),Diksha Jha (MA Psychology), Aditya Kumar (MA Geography), Shreya Kumari (MA Geography), Shrinkhala Singh (MSc Geology), Altaf Raza (MSc Geology), Saurabh Tiwari (MA History), Aditi Sharma (MA History), Nitish Kumar (MSc Statistics), Riya Vatsa (MA Political Studies) and Nandani Kumari (MA Social Work). Even in the previous years, many students of CUSB have got placement with the foundation and they are holding key positions, added the PRO. The placement drive was conducted under the supervision of Mr. Rajib Das, People Function from the HR team Azim Premji Foundation along with his colleagues.
Earlier in the month of February Azim Premji Foundation, conducted the first round of placement drive which was participated around 150 PG students from different programmes (courses) namely, Biotechnology, Life Science, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Geology, Geography, Economics, English, Hindi, History, Political Science, Psychology, Social Work and Sociology. The candidates have been offered the job as campus associate at an initial package of Rs 5 lakh per annum along with other additional benefits like medical assistance, relocation expense, insurance free loan, group term life insurance.
