The Department offers M.Sc. and Ph.D. Programme in Environmental Science which revolves around multidisciplinary and integrated study of the Earth, Atmospheric, Biological and Chemical processes and their linkages with developmental perspectives for attaining a sustainable environment. The focus includes complex interactions between the different components of nature (between and beyond disciplinary boundaries), impact on food security and associated ecosystem services in the immediate and long-term perspectives, besides environmental monitoring and management.
