- Receipts, Payments & Accounts
- Accurate and timely payments in conformity with prescribed rules and regulations.
- Timely realization of receipts.
- Timely and accurate compilation and consolidation of monthly and annual accounts.
- Adherence to prescribed accounting standards, rules and principles.
- Timely, accurate, comprehensive, relevant and useful Financial Reporting.
- The Finance & Accounts is also responsible for:
- Preparation of Annual University Budget and monitoring of scheme wise expenditure.
- Timely payment of all types of Fellowship, Scholarship, Contingency to Ph.D, M.Phil, Semester Topper, and CUCET Topper students.
- Payroll is a critical function of the accounting sector and includes making sure all employees are paid accurately and timely. In addition, proper tax is assessed and paid to government agencies on time. o Speedy settlement of CUBCHS/CGHS, LTC, and CEA claims.
- Timely payment to third parties vendor for non-recurring items through HEFA (Higher Education Funding Agency) e.g CPWD, RITES etc on PMS Portal, Agencies for providing manpower (On contract basis) for facilitating University premises.
- Preparation of Utilization Certificate, Payment to vendor as well as reimbursement of expenditure related with project.
- Implementation of online fee collection through SBI e-collect portal.
- Implementation of various modules of PFMS & NTRP for the IT based online payments.
- Statuary & Internal Audit of Accounts.
- Other Miscellaneous payments.
