Dr. Anju Helen Bara

Experience : (Teaching / Research) Experience: With a Master’s degree in Political Science from Centre for Political Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, I went to Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay to pursue M.Phil in Planning and Development and later completed my Ph.D from Humanities & Social Sciences, IIT, Bombay. During Ph.D I spent a year as a Commonwealth Split-Site Scholar in the Department of Development Studies, School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), London. After completion of M.Phil, I worked as Research Assistant for a month in Mumbai in an ethnographic fieldwork conducted by Pacific Ethnography Company, California, US. Afterwards, I worked as a Consultant for a small project on Water supply and sanitation programme with SaciWaters, Hyderabad and later continued working with Saciwaters as a Research Associate on the reader on Civil Society and Governance (published by Routledge). Thereafter, I worked as Research Assistant at National Institute of Rural Development (NIRD), Hyderabad. Since 2011 onwards I am working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Development Studies.
Dr. Firdaus Fatima Rizvi

Qualification : B.Sc (Biology), M.A (Economics), D.Phil. (Economics) and LLB from University of Allahabad M.Sc. (Environment and Ecology) from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Health, Medical and Technological Sciences.
Experience : I pursued Doctorate in Economics from Govind Ballabh Pant Social Science Institute, University of Allahabad, Allahabad. I was an ICSSR Doctoral Research Fellow. I have more than 16 years of experience in research and teaching as of now. I am presently working as an Assistant Professor (Senior Scale) in the Department of Development Studies, School of Social Sciences and Policy. I joined Central University of South Bihar in 2013. Prior to joining this institute, I have served Indian Institute of Dalit Studies, New Delhi (IIDS) for six years on various positions. I also served Council for Social Development, New Delhi for two years. Hence, my initial work experience was more into research, working on different projects funded by government agencies, foreign universities and other sponsoring bodies. Now I have been associated with both teaching and research in Central University of South Bihar. I have supervised Ph.D., M. Phil and Master Dissertations on different issues such as solid waste management, bio-medical waste management, labour issues and agriculture development. My teaching expertise revolves around four papers a). Agriculture and Food Security b). Globalisation and Labour issues c). Research Methodology and Data Analysis d). Human Development.
Mr. Aditya Mohanty

Experience : With an undergraduate training (B.A) in Sociology (Honors) and Geography from 2000-03 at Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, India, I pursued a postgraduate (MA) degree in Sociology at the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, India from 2003-05 and then worked for four years (2005-09) in the different grassroots level Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) in diverse verticals like the Disabilities sector, Primary Education, Local Urban Governance, and Micro Finance. Thereafter, he spent a couple of years (2009-11) at IIT Kanpur on a research project dealing with local urban governance in Delhi and was trained in Urban Geography as a Visiting Commonwealth Scholar from 2011-12 at University College London (UCL), UK. Since 2012, I have been working as an Assistant Professor at the Central University of South Bihar, Gaya, from where I went on a study leave (2016-19) to pursue a Ph.D. from the university of Aberdeen, UK
