The Department of Geography was established in the year 2022 in the School of Earth, Biological & Environmental Sciences. At present the department is running with 1 Professor and 2 Associate Professors and 4 Assistant Professors. As per the vision of the NEP-2020, the main objective of our course curriculum is to give the students a holistic understanding of the Geography, putting equal weightage to the core content and techniques used in Geography. Keeping employability in mind and in tune with the changing nature of Geography, adequate emphasis is rendered on applied aspects of the subject.
