Prof. Ravi Kant
Professor and Head

Experience : Dr. Ravi Kant’s major area of teaching and research are Educational Technology, ICT in Education and Educational Psychology. He has more than thirteen years of teaching experience at UG, PG including Doctoral level. He has participated in several national seminars and conferences in the capacity of participants as well as resource person. He has published more 30 research papers in different journals which are spread among more than 13 countries. These papers are published in globally accepted database like SCOPUS, Web of Science, EBSCO, ERIC etc. with h-index and i-10-index of citations in the journal of International and National repute. One sponsored project namely “Emotional Labour and Burnout among Teacher Educator of Gaya District” is also in his academic credit. He also contributed several e-content and MOOCs to the National agencies like NIOS, National Resource Centre CUSB etc. Beside above, he is active member of editorial board and review board of several International and National journals. Peer review is indexed in International data base i.e. Web of Science. He is also performed responsibilities as course coordinator of D.Ed. course offered by NIOS. Additionally he is also associated with different universities with academic and administrative responsibilities. Presently he is also working on the online behaviour and pattern of the higher education’s students.
Dr. Mitanjali Sahoo

Experience : 15 Yrs. Dr. Mitanjali Sahoo earlier worked as an Assistant Professor at Harkamaya College of Education, Gangtok (Sikkim Central University). She qualified UGC NET (Education) in December 2007. She earned her doctoral thesis entitled, “Anxiety and Adjustment of Higher Secondary School students with Differential Levels of their Self-Concept” in 2013 from Utkal University, Odisha. She also holds an M.Phil. Degree in Economics along with B.Ed. and M.Ed. in Education. She has presented papers in different state level, national and international level conferences. She has published several praiseworthy articles in reputed journals. She has also published a book entitled, “Adolescent Behaviour”.

Dr. Tarun Kumar Tyagi

Before joining CUSB as Assistant Professor in the Department of Teacher Education, School of Education he has worked as Assistant Professor in the Department of Education at Regional Institute of Education, Ajmer, Central University of Rajasthan, Chaudhary Charan Singh University Meerut and Ch. Mahendra Singh Degree College, Garhmukteshwar. He did his Post Graduation (Economics), B.Ed., M.Ed. and M.Phil. in Education (Gold Medal) from CCS University, Meerut, qualified UGC NET (Education) and completed Ph.D. in Education from BHU Varanasi. He has participated in several national and international seminars & conferences. He has nine years of teaching and research experiences of UG and PG and M.Phil. (Education). He has published several research papers in reputed international and national journals. Beside this, he is a reviewer of different international journals.

Dr. Pragya Gupta

Experience : Before joining CUSB as Assistant Professor in Department of Teacher Education, School of Education she has worked as Assistant Professor in the Department of Education at Regional Institute of Education, Ajmer and also worked as a Project Consultant at NUEPA, New Delhi on Nationwide Project NPSSE known as ‘Shala Sidhdhi’. She did her Post Graduation (Psychology) from B.R. Ambedkar University Agra, B.Ed. and M.Ed. from Dayal Bagh Educational Institute Agra, qualified UGC NET & JRF (Education) and completed Ph.D. in Education from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. She has nine years of teaching experience of UG and PG level. She has published various research papers in reputed National Journals.
Dr. Ravindra Kumar

Experience : 10 Years. Dr. Ravindra Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Teacher Education under the School of Education (SoE), Central University of South Bihar. Before joining CUSB as Assistant Professor, has worked as Assistant Professor (ET) in Central Institute of Educational Technology, NCERT, New Delhi & Ch. Charan Singh University, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. He has given academic input in various projects under Govt. of India i.e. NROER, MOOCs for School Education, ePathashala, ePG-Pathashala, Indo-Bhutan elibrary, DTH Television etc. Dr. Kumar has supervised more than ten M.Ed. students and four Ph.D. research scholars working under the supervision. He has published more than 18 research papers in reputed National and International Journals and published four books in his area of ICT and Language Education. He has owned as resource person in more than 15 workshops and training programmes in different state of India. Dr. Kumar has wide experience in participating as well as coordinating many training programs, workshops, forums, conferences etc. at national and international level. Apart from this he has contributed approximate 40 e-content based on Hindi and English poems those are uploaded on e-Pathashala, NROER and YouTube platforms.
Mr. Kishor Kumar

Experience : Dr. Kumar is working as Assistant Professor at Schools of Education, Central University of South Bihar, Gaya from 08.12.2016 to till date. He has more than twelve years of teaching experience at UG and PG level. His major research area is as Mathematical Aptitude, Mathematical Epistemological Beliefs and Mathematics Education. He has published more than 10 research papers in UGC care listed and approved journals. The area of his teaching is Pedagogy of Mathematics, Educational Statistics, Distance Education and Open Learning. He has participated more than 35 national seminars, workshops and conferences in the capacity of participants as well as resource person. He is also working in different committees of DTE, SoE, Central University of South Bihar, Gaya. Additionally, he has also performed the responsibility of an ‘Observer’ in CUCET-2017. Presently he is working on the mathematical epistemological beliefs of student-teachers. He has acquired eight years teaching experience in B.Ed. at Chander Kalan, Tohana from 01.09.2007 to 04.09.2015 and more than four months teaching experience in B.Ed. at Jamalpur Sheikhan, Tohana from 24.02.2016 to 13.08.2016.
