In order to discharge social responsibilities, the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) organized a voluntary blood donation camp in collaboration with Anugrah Narayan Medical College and Hospital (ANMCH), Gaya. Under the patronage of Vice Chancellor Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh, the camp was organized by Dr. Budhendra Kumar Singh, NSS Program Coordinator, CUSB, with the help of Dr. Priya Ranjan (NSS Program Officer), NSS volunteers and students of other departments.

A total 55 people donated blood in the voluntary blood donation camp organized at the School of Education (Malviya Bhawan) of the University. Dr. Budhendra Kumar Singh appreciated the volunteers of the NSS unit for coordinating the blood donation camp, providing refreshments to the blood donors and creating awareness about the importance of regular blood donation.

Program Coordinator Dr. Budhendra Kumar Singh said that in line with the broad objectives of NSS, this initiative reflects the university's commitment towards social responsibilities and encourages the youth to contribute to the welfare of the society. With this objective, this philanthropic event organized in the university campus saw active participation of students, faculty members and volunteers who donated blood voluntarily. He informed that a dedicated medical team from ANMCH, Gaya was present at the camp to conduct the blood donation process smoothly and safely. The camp was supported wholeheartedly by the Magadh Medical technical staff.
