Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh
Vice-Chancellor, CUSB
Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh is the 3rd Vice Chancellor of Central University of South Bihar (CUSB), Gaya. Prior to joining CUSB, Prof. Singh was Vice-Chancellor of Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University, Prayagraj and Prof. Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaiya) State University, Prayagraj. He completed his graduation, post-graduation and PhD from Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur. He started his academic career at the same University where he also worked as Head of the department of Geography. He has been the founder Director of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Research Foundation at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur. Prof. Singh has about 32 years of rich professional experience in different aspects of teaching, research, administration, training as well as major research projects formulations, both national and international. He has supervised 18 Ph.D. students and one post-doctoral fellow.
Prof. Singh has worked as a Research Associate at the Institute of Geography and Institute for Development Research and Development Policy at Ruhr University, Bochum, Germany for one year in a joint research project titled ‘Urban fringe study of Indian and German cities’ sponsored by DAAD. He has conducted extensive field survey in different parts of Germany as well as the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg under the guidance of Late Prof. K. H. Hottes, Director, Institute of Geography and Institute of Development Studies, Germany. Prof. Singh has contributed mainly in the field of environment, regional development and value education. He has more than seventy publications to his credit in the form of research papers and policy papers etc. He is the author of 17 books and is currently working on his upcoming book entitled ‘Geography of India: Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow’. He has served as Vice President of the National Association of Geographers of India (NAGI) and at present he is the President of the Association of North Indian Geographers of which he was previously General Secretary for almost 20 years.

Co-ordinator Dr. Singh has more than 10 years of teaching/research/industrial experience. His specialization is in area of experimental condensed mater physics. He is a recipient of Dr. D.S. Kothari Postdoctoral Fellowship and Individual grant from Foundation of Science and Technology, Govt. of Portugal. He has to his credit more than 60 research articles published in refereed SCI journals/edited books. |

Dr. Chetna Jaiswal Dr. Jaiswal has Specialization in Organizational Behavior, Social Psychology and Health Psychology. Prior to joining CUSB in December 2015, she has worked as an administrator in Rajasthan administrative services (2011-2015). He has also worked as an assistant professor (2009-2011) in Delhi NCR including I.P. College, BRAC Of University of Delhi. Apart from UGC NET- JRF, she was a recipient of Gold Medal in M.Phil. and Best Officer” Pen of Honor” award in RAS- 2011 Batch, Government of Rajasthan. She was also a National player of Basketball and has cleared NCC ‘C’ certificate. She has presented research paper in various national and international conferences including International Congress of Psychology (ICP2020) Prague, Czech Republic. Six-research publication in UGC-CARE listed journals including International Journal of Psychology (Scopus journal by Willey). |
