National Youth Day Celebration at CUSB
Swami Vivekananda's life is a source of inspiration for the youth, Vice Chancellor Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh
On the occasion of National Youth Day on Sunday (12 January 2025), the Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) family remembered Swami Vivekananda on his birth anniversary. On the occasion of Swami Vivekananda's 162nd birth anniversary, a special program was organized at the administrative building by the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of the university under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh. In this program, Vice Chancellor Prof. Singh was accompanied by Dean Student Welfare (DSW) Prof. Pawan Kumar Mishra, NSS officials, volunteers and Dr. Chandana Suba, Dr. Neha Shukla, Dr. Preeti Rai, Assistant Registrar Shri Shashi Ranjan, Heads of various departments, professors, officers, employees and students of various departments. The program started with lighting of lamps and garlanding the picture of Vivekananda ji. Further, Vice Chancellor Prof. K. N. Singh threw light on the ideals and thoughts of Swami Vivekananda. He said that the thoughts of Swami Vivekananda are inspirational for all of us. His life is exemplary for the youth, taking inspiration from which the youth can become virtuous and self-reliant. Today, on Vivekananda's birthday, let us all take a pledge that we will play our role in nation building by following the path shown by him. On this occasion, students and members of the university family also took a pledge to play their role in nation building by taking inspiration from the life of Swami Vivekananda.
