Educational Tour of Middle School Nepa students to CUSB, February 17, 2025

Under the 'Campus for Community' campaign the students of Middle School Nepa explored CUSB campus on Educational Tour. The Department of Teacher Education organized the tour under the guidance of Prof. Ravikant, Dean and Dr. Tarun Kumar Tyagi, Assistant Professor (Teacher Mentor, Nepa Middle School). This educational tour was aimed at motivating the students towards higher education and introducing them to the modern and rich environment of the university. Under the educational tour in the university, the students visited the Administrative Building, Rose Garden, Aryabhatta Bhawan, Malviya Bhawan and Chanakya Bhawan and Rajarshi Janak Central Library, Agricultural Farm etc.

After visiting the administrative building, the children saw colourful roses in the rose garden under the guidance of Lieutenant (Dr.) Pragya Gupta. The school children got detailed information about the chemistry laboratory under the guidance of Prof. Amiya Priyam, the biology laboratory under the guidance of Prof. Ram Pratap Singh, the geology laboratory under the guidance of Prof. Prafull Singh, and the physics laboratory under the guidance of Prof. Venkatesh Singh, as well as the computer laboratory with various equipment in the Aryabhatta Bhawan. In the Rajarshi Janak Central Library, Dr. Pramod Kumar Singh (librarian) and Dr. Pankaj Mathur (deputy librarian) gave information to the children about manuscripts, reference books, research books etc. and also highlighted their usefulness in life. The students got important information about the sports facilities and physical education of the university in the sports complex. Thereafter, in the Malviya Bhawan, the children also visited the social laboratory as well as the yoga room etc.

At the end of the educational trip, a special interactive session was organized in the Department of Teacher Education. On this occasion, Prof. Ravi Kant, Chairman, Department of Education welcomed the Principal of Nepa Middle School, Mr. Rajendra Chaudhary and teacher Mrs. Meena and shared their experiences with the school children highlighting the importance of education in life. Director of Internship, Dr. Mitanjali Sahu motivated the school children to work hard for higher education and encouraged them to enroll in CUSB in future. The program was concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Tarun Tyagi (Teacher Mentor). Dr. Rinki, Lt. Pragya Gupta, Dr. Nripendra Veer Singh, Dr. Mujammil, Dr. Kishore and Dr. Chandra Prabha and research students were also present in the program. To make this program successful, CUSB trainee student mentors Shubham Kumar and Shweta Kumari along with Ashutosh, Anurag, Anup Kumar, Ashish Kumar, Avinash Lakra, Prince, Amita, Saurav Kumar, Pooja, Aastha, Lovely and Kunal and research student Kumar Gandharva played an important role.
