Three-day workshop on Moot Court Proposition Analysis, March 20-22, 2025

The Moot Court Society of School of Law & Governance (SLG) of Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) conducted a three-day workshop on moot court proposition analysis and memorial drafting, aimed at nurturing the legal skills of the batch of B.A.LL.B. and BBA.LL.B. law students. The workshop commenced on March 20, 2025 and will be concluded on March 22, 2025. The inauguration ceremony of the workshop was graced by the esteemed presence of the resource person Mr. James Mukkattukavunkal, Co-Founder and Managing Partner at INSART Advocates & Legal Consultants, also Advocate Delhi High Court. The workshop program was divided into two groups, group 1 and group 2 for the students. The resource person started with the basic introduction of moot court and explained Moot Court proposition and judge the students pleading round for this proposition between them and analysed memorial drafting. He focused attention on public speaking and how to speak to inform and to persuade in courts. He expressed the basics of mooting and applications of moot in litigation, corporate, arbitration and many other sectors.

It was successfully conducted under the supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Kameshwar Nath Singh, Vice-Chancellor, CUSB, Prof. Ashok Kumar, Head & Dean, Department of Law & Governance and Prof. (Dr.) S.P. Srivastava, Advisory member of Moot Court Society wished for the bright future of the students. The Workshop was organized by Mr. Mani Pratap, Coordinator, Moot Court Society along with Dr. Chandana Suba and Dr. Kumari Nitu, Co-cordinators, Moot Court Society. During the program, on behalf of the Student Committee, Moot Court Society Convener, Mukund Kumar, Treasurer, Sumant Kumar and Secretary, Navin maurya, Joint secretary, Astha Gupta and Executive member, Shivam karn, also helped in making the program successful.
