Bihar Day celebrated in CUSB, students presented a glimpse of Bihar's rich culture in the campus
Students presented a beautiful glimpse of Bihar's culture through a special cultural program on the occasion of Bihar Day at the first Central University of Bihar, Central University of South Bihar (CUSB). Students from Bihar as well as other states participated in this program with enthusiasm. After the formal inauguration, Vice Chancellor Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh, as the chief guest, observed various exhibitions and cultural programs presented by the students based on the cultural heritage of the state of Bihar. The students organized an exhibition showing a glimpse of the main dishes, historical places and ancient institutions of 38 districts of Bihar. Vice Chancellor Prof. Singh, while visiting this exhibition, appreciated the efforts of the students and said that "The glorious history, culture and tradition of Bihar keep us connected to our roots. It is very important to make the new generation aware of the rich heritage of Bihar."

On this occasion, Bihar's famous folk singer Manish Sharma was present as the special guest. He made the program even more memorable with his melodious folk songs. Remembering folk singer Sharda Sinha, he presented many popular folk songs, which gave the audience a wonderful experience of the fragrance of Bihar's soil and its culture. On the occasion of Bihar Day, the students paid tribute to the great personalities of the state and remembered their contributions. Under the cultural programs, the students also gave social messages through folk dances and drama presentations like 'Jhijhiya', 'Kajri', 'Jhoomar', 'Jat-Jatin'. University teachers, students and other employees were present in large numbers in the program. Ashutosh Kumar (Research Scholar, Department of Law), Anshumali Kumar (Research Scholar, Department of Sociology), Abhishek Kumar (Department of Geography), Ayush Anjani, Manish Kumar, Vedika Nandan, Ritesh Kumar, Ayush Kumar, Vaibhav Kumar, Khushi Rani and other students played an important role in organizing the program. In the end, Ashutosh Kumar gave the vote of thanks.
