CUSB Law students won Best Memorial Title in CMP National Moot Court Competition
The team of BA LLB (Hons) students of Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) has won the title of Best Memorial Drafting and Best Speaker in the "First CMP National Moot Court Competition, 2025" organized by Chaudhary Mahadev Prasad Mahavidyalaya, Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh) on April 13, 2025. On winning the Best Memorial title, the team of Smriti Sharma, Ananya Kumari and Premananda Kumar was given a trophy along with a cash prize of Rs. 7,000 and a certificate. Aastha Gupta was given a trophy and a certificate along with a cash prize of Rs. 7000 for the best speaker. Vice Chancellor Prof Kameshwar Nath Singh and Registrar Prof Narendra Kumar Rana have congratulated and wished the members of the winning team on this achievement.

On this achievement, Dean and Head of Department of School of Law and Governance (SLG) Prof. Along with Ashok Kumar, other professors of the Law Department, Prof. Sanjay Prakash Srivastava, Prof. Pawan Kumar Mishra, Prof. Pradeep Kumar Das, Dr. Surendra Kumar, Dr. Poonam Kumari, Dr. Dev Narayan Singh, Dr. Pallavi Singh, Dr. Anant Prakash Narayan, etc. have also congratulated. This achievement was praised by Mr. Mani Pratap (Coordinator Moot Court Society) along with co-coordinators of Moot Court Society, Dr. Kumari Neetu and Dr. Chandana Suba. Giving detailed information, coordinator of Moot Court Society, Mr. Mani Pratap (Assistant Professor, SLG) said that two teams participated in this national level competition. This competition was based on constitutional and trademark and food act law in which reputed universities from all over the country participated. It is known that two teams of CUSB participated in it, in which the first team included Smriti Sharma, Ananya Kumari and Premananda Kumar from the sixth semester, the second team included Aastha Gupta, Gautam Kumar and Tarun Kumar Srivastava from the fourth semester. Both the teams qualified for the quarter round and won the best memorial trophy and the best speaker trophy. Student coordinators of Moot Court Society Mukund Kumar, Sumant Kumar, Naveen Maurya, Shri Vijay Laxmi etc. congratulated and wished on this achievement.
