Guest Lecture by IGNOU Prof. Satish Kumar on India's Foreign Policy after CUSB's Operation Sindoor, July 21, 2025
The Dept. of Political Studies of CUSB organized a special dialogue program on the topic 'India's Foreign Policy after Operation Sindoor'. The keynote speaker Prof. Satish Kumar from IGNOU shared his views on the challenges and possibilities faced by India's foreign policy after Operation Sindoor. He praised the steps taken by the Indian Government in the foreign policy after Operation Sindoor and said that the country accepted these challenges and maintained its sovereignty on the global stage.

Prof. Satish said that through Operation Sindoor, India has given a big message to the world by taking strict steps against terrorism, which will yield dire results in the future. Before the keynote address, two researchers Khushboo Kumari and Dharmendra Kumar defended their thesis under the research guidance of Professor Pranav Kumar, Dean of the School of Social Sciences and Policy. Dean Professor Pranav Kumar, while highlighting the importance of foreign policy, said that foreign policy is a very dynamic and serious subject and students and researchers need to be aware of it so that they can create new knowledge in this field. On this occasion, other teachers of the department, Professor Praveen Kumar, Dr. Abhay Kumar, Dr. Sumit Kumar Pathak and Dr. Pawan Kumar Singh also participated. Along with this, students of the department and other departments also participated in this dialogue session.
