A special seminar cum awareness programme was organised under the joint aegis of the Dept. of Commerce and Business Studies of Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) and Reserve Bank of India, Patna. This awareness programme on the topic 'Employment opportunities for women in Reserve Bank of India' was organised in Vivekananda Auditorium under the patronage of Vice Chancellor Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh. After the formal start of the programme with lighting of lamps, the guests were welcomed with mementoes and shawls. Delivering his presidential address, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh said that the Government of India is bringing forth various schemes to empower women. I am happy that in line with the schemes of the government, Reserve Bank of India also runs such programmes. This is the central bank of our country. Where our girl students can make their future better by getting employment. The Vice Chancellor also stressed on the need to organise awareness programmes on such important topics in the university campus in future.

As the chief guest, Reserve Bank of Patna manager Ravijit Devnath explained the employment opportunities related to the Reserve Bank in detail. He said that the more the participation of women, the better it will be for the organization. Kumar Abhishek attended the program as the guest of honor and Dheeraj Kumar as the special guest. Earlier, Dean of School of Management Professor Subramanyam Shmugam welcomed all the honored guests and expressed gratitude to RBI, Patna for organizing the seminar in the university campus. After the welcome speech, Assistant Professor of the department Mrs. Renu explained the format of the event in detail as the program coordinator.

A quiz competition was organized in the program in which the girl students of CUSB participated enthusiastically. As departmental associates, Dr. Rajnarayanan, Dr. Rachna Vishwakarma, Dr. Pavas Kumar, Dr. Pradeep Ram provided important support. On this occasion, University's Finance Officer Mrs. Rashmi Tripathi, Deputy Registrar Pratish Kumar Das, Assistant Registrar Shashi Ranjan, Associate Professor of Economics Department Dr. Abodh Kumar, Dr. Chetna Jaiswal from Department of Psychological Studies, Dr. Arpana Jha from English Department, Information Scientist Kshitij Singh, Assistant Engineer Koshalesh Ki etc. were present. The program was conducted by Shivangi, a student of Commerce Department.
