CUSB Students Excel in UGC NET-JRF December 2025 Examination
Students from various departments of the Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) have achieved remarkable success in the UGC NET-JRF December 2025 examination, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Vice-Chancellor Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh, along with Registrar Prof. Narendra Kumar Rana, Deans of various schools, Heads of Departments, and faculty members, have extended their congratulations and best wishes to the CUSB students on their success in this national-level eligibility test.
Providing detailed information, Public Relations Officer (PRO) Mohammad Mudassir Alam stated that a record 14 students from the Department of Environmental Science have qualified for the prestigious UGC-NET examination. Students successful in the Assistant Professor (NET) category include Khushi Raj, Sonali Kumari, Kunal, Anamika Mahto, Ravi Kumar Gupta, Saurav Kumar, Neha Dixit, Aparajita Shukla, and Megha Kumari. Students successful exclusively in the PhD category include Srishti Bhardwaj, Anshuman Kumar, Dipanjali Singh, Abhishek Kumar, and Sonalika Patel. From the Department of Economic Studies and Policy, three students—Vikrant Kumar, Ashish Kumar, and Nidhi—have achieved success in the UGC-NET examination.
From the Department of Historical Studies and Archaeology, Ria Singh, Saurabh Tiwari, Dinkar Kumar, and Mansi Gautam have successfully cleared the examination. The Department of English saw a total of seven students achieve success, including Ayushi Raj, Anukul Kumar Sinha, Anjali Arya, Chitra Sadhukhan, Gaurav Kumar, Kumar Ritik, and Tushar Raj. Two students from the M.Com program—Abhishek Kumar Singh and Parijat Kashyap—have also achieved success in the UGC-NET examination. From the Department of Physical Education, Abhinav Anand, Anant Shandilya, Abhishek Mishra, Mayank Kumar, Suman Saurabh, and Praveen Ekka achieved success in the UGC-NET, while Nilesh Kumar, Ashish Raj, and Anand Kumar from the same department qualified for admission to the PhD program.
The UGC-NET is a highly competitive national-level examination in India; candidates who qualify are eligible to become Assistant Professors in higher education institutions and to pursue Ph.D. research. It is noteworthy that at CUSB—a university advancing on the path of academic excellence—students achieve widespread success in the UGC-NET examination, which is conducted twice a year, thanks to the provision of quality education and the expert guidance of the faculty.
