Students of Central University of South Bihar, Gaya given outstanding performance at the State Level in the All India “Bharat BoudhIKS National Examination 2026” Based on Indian Knowledge Tradition, Organized by Vidya Bharati Uchcha Shiksha Sansthan  Under the able leadership and guidance of the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh, the Central University of South Bihar (CUSB), Gaya successfully participated in the All India “Bharat BoudhIKS National Examination (BBIKSNE) 2026,” based on Indian Knowledge Tradition, organized by Vidya Bharati Uccha Shiksha Sansthan on 31 January 2026. The students of CUSB delivered an outstanding performance at the South Bihar provincial level.

Prof. Singh remarked that the nature of this examination not only strengthens subject understanding but also helps in preparing for upcoming competitive examinations. It further enables youth to deeply understand and imbibe Indian culture and values, while promoting the integration of Indian knowledge traditions into higher education. He described this initiative as a strong and commendable effort of Vidya Bharati Uchcha Shiksha Sansthan towards achieving the goals of the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP).
The Examination Coordinator, Dr. Tarun Kumar Tyagi (Department of Teacher Education) and Member Secretary (VBUSS, Dakshin Bihar Prant), informed that a total of 10 students from CUSB achieved excellent positions at Bihar Prant level in the BBIKSNE 2026:
•    1st Position: Anshu Kumar (Department of Historical Studies & Archaeology) 
•    2nd Position: Shruti Mishra (Department of Agriculture) 
•    3rd & 4th Positions: Shubhangi Singh and Beauty Kumari (Department of Teacher Education) 
•    5th Position: Abhishek Kumar (Department of Library and Information Science) 
•    6th Position: Anshu Priya (Department of Physics) 
•    7th Position: Shubham Kumar (Department of Biotechnology) 
•    8th & 9th Positions: Premlata and Jatin Kumar (Department of Teacher Education) 
•    10th Position: Pragati Priya (Department of Psychological Science) 
These students were honored for their outstanding performance in a one-day Regional Seminar and Felicitation Ceremony for Rank Holders of Bharat BoudhIKS National Examination 2026, organized by the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Patna. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Shri K. N. Raghunandan Jee, National Organization Secretary, Vidya Bharati Uchcha Shiksha Sanstha; Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh, Vice-Chancellor, CUSB Gaya; Prof. Pradeep Kumar Jain, Director, NIT Patna; and Prof. Raman Kumar Trivedi, Regional Coordinator, VBUSS (Bihar and Jharkhand).

On this occasion, all students were awarded with their Rank Certificates. Additionally, four students received a cash prize of ₹2500 each, while six students were given consolation prizes of ₹500 each.
The event was also graced by the esteemed presence of Controller of Examinations of CUSB, Dr. Shantigopal Paine; Deputy Registrar, Shri Kumar Kaushal; Dean of Student Welfare, Prof. Pawan Kumar Mishra; Members of the advisory committee (BBIKSNE, CUSB); Heads of Departments; Deans of Schools; and more than 50 faculty members from CUSB who encouraged and motivated the students for their excellent performance.

On this auspicious occasion, the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh, Registrar, Prof. Narendra Kumar Rana, and Regional Coordinator of Vidya Bharati Higher Education Institute, Prof. Raman Kumar Trivedi, expressed their gratitude to the Bharat BoudIKS Examination Team (Centre, State & CUSB), advisory committee members, faculty, staff, office personnel, and VBUSS (Dakshin Bihar Prant) members for their contributions. They also motivated students to actively participate in future academic activities and strive for greater achievements.
