Invitation

On behalf of Organizing Committee, it’s my pleasure to invite to the National Symposium on Avian Biology being organized by the Department of Life Science, Central University of South Bihar, Gaya – 824236, Bihar during November 09-11, 2022. This symposium will provide a platform for the exchange of new ideas and novel information on the recent development in avian biology. In this national symposium, researchers will share their knowledge, keep us abreast of the developments in avian science and show the way for the future research. The symposium aims at giving emphasis to all recent, novel and innovative research on various aspects of avian research including physiology, chronobiology, genetics and breeding, migration, conservation, behavior, ecology, avian forensic, etc.

We are excited and look forward to host you in Gaya, the religious capital of Bihar in November 2022.

Venue

Department of Life Science, Central University of South Bihar, Gaya – 824236, Bihar.

Significance of the symposium

Birds are unique, and have been a subject of research since ancient time due to their specific morphological, anatomical and physiological features. Due to these unique reasons, birds are an excellent model for research to understand various biological phenomena and a source of biomimicry.  This symposium will provide a platform to discuss various aspects of avian research including physiology, chronobiology, genetics and breeding, migration, conservation, behavior, ecology, avian forensic, etc.  In this national symposium, researchers will share their knowledge, and show the way for the future research.
