CUSB’s Red Ribbon Club Team wins BSACS Quiz Competition
The Red Ribbon Club (RRC) Team functioning at Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) secured 3rd place in the State level Quiz competition conducted by Bihar State AIDS Control Society (BSACS). The team of RCC comprised of Priya Priydarshani (MSc Environmental Sciences) and Uttam Kumar (BA LLB) participated in the competition under supervision of CUSB NODAL Officer Dr. Prashant, Assistant Professor, Environmental Sciences. The team won the final round of competition with 3rd position after securing 1st position in zonal and district levels. CUSB RCC team was congratulated by Vice-Chancellor Prof. H.C.S.Rathore and Registrar Col. R.K.Singh and University fraternity.
The Quest of CUSB’s RCC for State level Quiz competition started on October 23 as the team by participation in district level competition. Along with CUSB, four other teams from different colleges of Gaya district namely J J College , Magadh university, S M S G college and Gautam Buddha Mahila College enthusiastically participated in the quiz. CUSB team won the round and the participants got 1 year subscription of Pratiyogita Darpan magazine as the prize and qualified for commissionary round. In the Magadh Commissionary (Zonal) round held on 13th November, CUSB team secured 1st position and the winning team was given a Tab as the prize. The final round was held on 23rd November and CUSB team secured 3rd position with score of 18. The winning team was S.P.Jain College Sasaram, while J.D. College Begusarai secured 2nd position followed by CUSB with 3rd position.
