Black Day observed at CUSB in memory of Pulwama Attack

On January 14, 2024, The fifth death anniversary of the Indian Army soldiers martyred in the Pulwama attack on 14 February, 2019 was observed as “Black Day” by the Department of Historical Studies and Archaeology of Central University of South Bihar. Students of the History Department organized a special tribute programme on this occasion.

 

At the beginning of the meeting, two minutes silence was observed in the memory of the brave martyrs by paying homage to their paintings. MA (History) students Shravani Vasistha, Nisha and Kundan conducted the program. Assistant Professor of History Department, Dr. Rohit Kumar, while discussing the incident of Pulwama attack, underlined the fact that we not only need to remember this martyrdom but also have to play the role of an alert and conscious citizen.

 

Head of the Department, Dr. Sudhanshu Jha along with faculty members Dr. Neeraj Singh, Dr. Anil Kumar, research students Manprakash, Vishwaranjan, Amrit, Vijya, Nitish and a large number of M.A. Students of second and fourth semester were present.
