Education means to draw out. The Central University of South Bihar believes on this philosophy that every individual is capable of becoming anything and achieving any milestone. Education is a means to transform nation, society, family & individuals. To inculcate values in human relations and cherish the nature; the IQAC Cell conduct towards quality of content, updating with scientific and humane temperament and upgrading each unit of nation, society and family.
Higher education system plays a key role in the development of nation, with a great deal of responsibility to cadre a quality education environment for the benefit of society and interns, the nation. Thus, setting up a benchmark for quality standard and practices along with a regular assessment has become an integral part of any institution and/or University. It is to make sure that a sustainable quality benchmark and best practices is being adhere in academic and administrative activity. In this regard, the role played by an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) becomes of high importance and crucial. The IQAC cell, here in CUSB is actively working to enable all state holders to eliminate all threats and concerns responsible for restricting their goals to follow. For this a highly motivated and passion filled team has been constituted who, with sincerity and dedication are participating in the consistent and incremental growth of the University. With active participation of all the members, we make concrete steps for the improvement and overall development of the University on NAAC performance and quality scale. Our team is responsible for pipelining of various measures and efforts which has to be taken for
- Promoting our University towards achieving academic and research excellence through consistent action plans for improving Academic and Administrative performance benchmarks.
- For facilitating quality enhancement, a planned interventionist strategy required to overcome our deficiencies and make use of our strength in a circumstantial way.
- Promoting best practices and developing a quality culture for incremental development of CUSB.
We are fortunate to have a great work environment with a bunch full of dedicated, sincere and experienced workforce to play such a role. The IQAC committee is dedicated to adhere to such activity and in turns play a crucial role in the development CUSB with a pledge to achieve an excellence in all the aspects and criterion as per the NAAC guideline.
The current committee of IQAC was constituted on 19th October 2020 and is fully functional under the chairmanship of Prof. H. C. S. Rathore, Vice-Chancellor of CUSB. Presently the IQAC team of CUSB is functioning with 25 members with eminence.
Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh
Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh is the 3rd Vice Chancellor of Central University of South Bihar (CUSB), Gaya. Prior to joining CUSB, Prof. Singh was Vice-Chancellor of Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University, Prayagraj and Prof. Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaiya) State University, Prayagraj. He completed his graduation, post-graduation and PhD from Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur. He started his academic career at the same University where he also worked as Head of the department of Geography. He has been the founder Director of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Research Foundation at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur. Prof. Singh has about 32 years of rich professional experience in different aspects of teaching, research, administration, training as well as major research projects formulations, both national and international. He has supervised 18 Ph.D. students and one post-doctoral fellow.
Prof. Singh has worked as a Research Associate at the Institute of Geography and Institute for Development Research and Development Policy at Ruhr University, Bochum, Germany for one year in a joint research project titled ‘Urban fringe study of Indian and German cities’ sponsored by DAAD. He has conducted extensive field survey in different parts of Germany as well as the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg under the guidance of Late Prof. K. H. Hottes, Director, Institute of Geography and Institute of Development Studies, Germany. Prof. Singh has contributed mainly in the field of environment, regional development and value education. He has more than seventy publications to his credit in the form of research papers and policy papers etc. He is the author of 17 books and is currently working on his upcoming book entitled ‘Geography of India: Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow’. He has served as Vice President of the National Association of Geographers of India (NAGI) and at present he is the President of the Association of North Indian Geographers of which he was previously General Secretary for almost 20 years.
Prof. Venktesh Singh, Dean, School of Physical & Chemical Science
Prof. Singh has a vast experience of teaching and research spanning over 20 years. Prior to joining this University, he served the Department of Physics, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi as Assistant and Associate Professor of Physics since 2005. Before joining Banaras Hindu University, he was in the Institute of Physics, Academia Sinica, and Taipei, Taiwan as Postdoctoral Fellow and in the Physics Department, Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL), Opton, NY (USA) as visiting research fellow. He was the Guest Scientist at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (FNAL), Batavia, and Chicago (USA) for short period. He is an awardees of JSPS Postdoctoral Fellow (Osaka, Japan) and International Fellows of FNAL, Chicago (USA). He has successfully supervised 09 PhD theses and ~30 Master dissertations and has more than 300 publications in SCI journals with 7 completed and 3 running projects in his bag. He is actively collaborating in NOvA, DUNE, GEMMA DARK (USA), TEXONO (Taiwan), LEGEND (Germany), and CDEX (China).

The primary focus of Dr. Singh’s research is to understand the Physiology and genetics of birds and other animals. His major research interests include the reproductive biology of birds, especially rare and endangered species, mitigating infertility, developing assisted reproductive technologies, gamete cryopreservation, avian forensics, genome resource banking, avian genomics, etc.

He has been teaching Intellectual Property Law to under graduate and postgraduate students since last six years. He is a recipient of Doctoral Fellow from Indian Council of Social Sciences Research, New Delhi to undertake his Doctoral Research at Banaras Hindu University.
