Cancer awareness program organized by Pro Bono Club at Sub-Divisional Hospital Tekari, 07th February, 2024

The Pro Bono Club members of CUSB organized a cancer awareness program at the Sub-Divisional Hospital, Tekaro under the leadership of Nodal Officer Dr. Deo Narayan Singh. Dr. Inayatullah, Tekari sub-divisional hospital incharge, Dr. Vishwamurthy Mishra along with other hospital staff and common people participated in the program.

 

At the beginning of the program, Dr. Deo Narayan Singh spoke about the objectives and activities of the Pro Bono Club. Further the students talked about the symptoms, prevention measures and treatment of cancer in the hospital. Further, Asmita and Swati told people in detail about cancer awareness. In the program, Pro Bono Club student Gautam gave a speech on health is wealth, while Mini and Aastha told the people about cleanliness. Students of Pro Bono Club presented various presentations related to cancer awareness with the help of street drama. Nukkad Natak was conducted under the direction of Club student Deepanjali and included Maanvi, Riya, Smriti, Anjali, Priyanka, Nimmi, Muskaan, Aastha, Vaishnavi, Rupa, Babul, Himanshu, Mamtesh and Prakriti.

 

Dr. Vishwamurthy Mishra said in the concluding speech that Statement on the issue of medical negligence: There is a need to improve the quality of health services. He said that this program can prove to be very useful in increasing awareness about village health services and in the fight against serious diseases like cancer. Through this program, the students who were members of Pro Bono Club set an excellent example to strengthen social relations.
