CUSB international student May Thu Win presented her research paper in the Indian Science Conference
May Thu Win, an international student of Central University of South Bihar (CUSB), presented her research paper in the Indian Science Conference held in Ahmedabad (Gujarat) during December 21-24, 2024. May Thu Win, a native of Myanmar, is doing research under the supervision of Prof. Ram Kumar in the Environmental Science Department of CUSB. Researcher May Thu Win presented her work at the conference on the effects of overuse of antibiotics and their leakage into lakes and ponds. He reported on the effects of antibiotics in natural waters on the food webs of freshwater and ecosystems and the transfer of pharmaceuticals to humans through zooplankton – the fish-human food web.
Laboratory staff Mr. Amarjeet Kumar also presented his research in the conference. Mr. Amarjeet gave a presentation on recycling of fruit waste and suggested many valuable solutions for recycling. Dean and Head of the Department of School of Earth, Biological and Environmental Sciences, Prof. Pradhan Sarathi, while congratulating May Thu Win, has appreciated the efficient guidance of his supervisor, Prof. Ram Kumar. Other professors of the Department of Environmental Science have also congratulated and congratulated May Thu Win and Amarjeet.
