CUSB Law students’ team Champion in Legal Aid Fest Vidhikata 2.0 organized at CNLU
A team of law students from the School of Law and Governance of Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) brought glory to the University and Magadh region by becoming champions in the Legal Aid Fest ‘Vidhikata 2.0’ organized by Chanakya National Law University (CNLU), Patna. CUSB Vice Chancellor Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh boosted the morale of the winning team of CUSB by meeting them at his office. The Vice Chancellor congratulated the winning team and Dr. Surendra Kumar (Associate Professor), Faculty Coordinator of the Legal Aid Clinic. VC Prof. K. N. Singh said that this is indeed a great achievement for the university and the students and their mentor Dean and Head Prof. The efforts of Prof. Sanjay Prakash Srivastava, Faculty Co-Coordinator Dr. Anant Prakash Narayan and Dr. Chandana Suba are quite commendable.
Giving detailed information about the competition, Dr. Surendra Kumar said that students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm in competitions like Mock Lok Adalat, Client Counselling, Nukkad-Natak and Quiz etc. He informed that the winning team of the Mock Lok Adalat competition included Shri Vijay Lakshmi, Aastha Prakash and Mini Singh. The runner-up team of the street drama competition, Son Chiraiya team included Shambhavi, Riya, Tanisha, Sneha, Meenakshi, Vaishnavi, Sharwani, Sambhavi Singh, Smriti, Karan, Shubhanshu and Himanshu.
Prof. S. P. Srivastava along with faculty members of the department Prof. Pawan Kumar Mishra, Prof. Ashok Kumar, Dr. Pradip Kumar Das, Dr. Poonam Kumari, Dr. Deo Narayan Singh, Dr. Digvijay Singh, Mr. Mani Pratap, Dr. Anant Prakash Narayan, Dr. Pallavi Singh, Dr. Kumari Neetu, Dr. Neha Shukla, Dr. Anurag Aggarwal and Dr. Anuja Mishra have congratulated the students. They also appreciated the proper guidance given to his juniors by the senior student members of Legal Aid Clinic, Ashutosh Mishra, Ankita Raj and Naman Sinha respectively.
