Over 100 students from CUSB cracked UGC NET-JRF December 2023

The students of Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) have once again succeeded in the national level UGC NET – JRF December 2023 examination. More than 100 students from various departments of the university have achieved success in the examination conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) in the month of December 2023. CUSB Vice Chancellor Professor Kameshwar Nath Singh, Registrar Colonel Rajiv Kumar Singh along with professors from various departments congratulated the students on their success.

 

Five (05) students of the Department of Environmental Science qualified for NET (Assistant Professor) which are Anuradha Singh, Jai Prakash Kumar, Rishu Raj, Digvijay Kumar and Aditi Sharan respectively. Three students from the Department of Historical Studies and Archeology, Divya Kumari, Saurav Kumar Pandey and Satyendra Kumar Chaudhary have qualified for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship), while Ashutosh Kumar and Ambuj Kumar Srivastava have qualified for NET (Assistant Professor). Ashish Dwivedi, Daulat Kumar Roy, Devsharan Suman, Giridhar Kumar, Satya Prakash, Yashasvi Kumar, Kumari Shubhagi and Jitendra Kumar from the Department of Political Science have qualified for the post of Assistant Professor by clearing NET. A total of three (03) students of the Department of Law and Governance succeeded in the examination which include Rahul Kumar, Neeraj Kumar and Rishabh Kumar Dubey. Three (03) students of Psychology Department have qualified for NET which include Anushree, Fatima Shahada and Pooja Dhruv. Vaibhav Singh Shekhawat and Ashish Raj from Statistics Department, Nikita Sharma and Suman Kumar from Physical Education Department and Manish Kumar from Geography Department have got success in the examination.

 

Along with these departments, students from other departments and courses of CUSB have also achieved success in this prestigious examination. It is known that every year a large number of students from CUSB get success in the UGC NET-JRF examination and here the students are efficiently guided by the teachers. Students who qualify JRF are given grants from the Government of India to pursue PhD (research) and students who are successful in JRF become eligible for Lectureship (Assistant Professor). Whereas students who qualify NET have become eligible for Lectureship (Assistant Professor).
