Swami Vivekananda Health Camp organized by the Pharmacy Department of CUSB on January 12, 2024

To commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, many programs are being organized under the Youth Festival Week at the Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) on January 12, 2024. Under the Youth Festival Week, Vice Chancellor Prof. Swami Vivekananda Health Camp was organized by the Pharmacy Department under the patronage of Kameshwar Nath Singh. In the joint celebration of National Youth Day and National Pharmacy Day, the health camp organized under the leadership of Dr. Vivek Dave, Dean and Head of the Department of School of Health Sciences, was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh did it. After the formal inauguration of the health camp, the Vice Chancellor got himself tested. He advised the employees and students to get their health checkup done. At the same time, he also wished for the good health of the students and staff.

 

On this occasion, Registrar Colonel Rajiv Kumar Singh, DSW Prof. Pawan Kumar Mishra, Proctor Prof. Pranav Kumar, Head of Department Prof. Vivek Dave, Organizing Committee member Dr. Girish Kumar Singh (Assistant Professor), Dr. Arun Kumar (Assistant Professor) and Dr. Vibhash Chandra Mohanta (Assistant Professor) were present. In the health camp, students and researchers of the Pharmacy Department, under the supervision of their teachers, conducted a total of 15 health related tests which included blood pressure, body mass index (BMI), weight (kg)/height (cm), blood group, blood clotting. Time, blood glucose, brain teaser, metabolic age, color blindness, vision test, oxygen saturation, spirometer (lung capacity), grip strength etc. In this camp, heads of departments, professors, officers, employees and students of various departments got their checkups done. Based on the checkup, appropriate medicines were also prescribed by the team.
