CUSB Registrar Col. R. K. Singh signed HEFA Grant Loan Document with the Managing Director of HEFA

On recommendation of CUSB Vice-Chancellor Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh, Registrar Col. Rajiv Kumar Singh signed the document of HEFA Grant Loan with the Managing Director of HEFA in Bengaluru on December 08, 2023. Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) has received a grant of Rs. 99.95 crore from the Higher Education Funding Agency (HEFA) for the construction of buildings under third-phase.  HEFA, a joint venture between the Ministry of Education of the Government of India and Canara Bank, has approved Rs. 99.95 crore for the construction of the buildings at CUSB. 

Giving detailed information about the HEFA loan grant, Registrar Col. Singh said that a grant of Rs 99.95 crore has been given for the construction of four buildings. Under the third phase, four school buildings will be constructed, including School of Law and Governance (estimated cost Rs. 27 crores), School of Physical and Chemical Sciences (estimated cost Rs. 29 crores), School of Business Studies and Management (estimated cost Rs. 23 crores) and School of Health Sciences (estimated cost Rs. 19 crores). As per the approval letter of HEFA, the grant has been given to CUSB for the financial year 2023-24 to the financial year 2025-26.

 It is noteworthy that many buildings have been constructed under the first and second phase of building construction in the 300 acres lush green campus of CUSB. Renowned for its academic excellence and NAAC A++ graded, CUSB is on the path of progress day-by-day and the entire university family is happy on receiving the grant for the construction of the third phase of building. They hope that in the coming days also CUSB will always move forward on the path of progress.
