Pro Bono Club celebrates National Youth Day at Middle School Rajpur

The Students of the Pro Bono Club of CUSB Celebrated National Youth Day at Middle school in Rajpur, Paraiya village in commemoration of Swami Vivekananda’s birthday. Before the start of the programme, the principal of Rajpur Middle School was honored with a shawl. This programme was by Dr. Deo Narayan Singh, the nodal officer of Pro Bono Club of CUSB.

 

The programme featured various cultural events presented by CUSB students. highlighting the principles of education, social responsibility, and service advocated by Swami Vivekananda. The Pro Bono Club students also organized several competitions for Rajpur School students, including essay and speech competitions. Through street plays, they emphasized upon the importance of cultural awareness to school students and villagers.

 

Students namely Pranav, Suyash, Vishal, Neha, Mini, Tanisha, Vaishnavi, and Ananya from the Pro Bono Club participated in the street play program. The awareness program and street play were directed by Prity Kumari, the coordinator of Pro Bono Club. Winners of the competitions from Rajpur School were awarded prizes. The program concluded with a Tree plantation activity, where both School and Pro Bono Club students actively participated by planting several trees.
