Yuvamanthan Hackathon; Reimagining India: Future Avenues for Viksit Bharat, 22nd February, 2024
An online talk, ‘Reimagining India: Future Avenues for Viksit Bharat’ was organized on 22, Feb., 2024 in CUSB under the umbrella of YUVAMANTHAN HACKATHON. The main purpose of this event was to create awareness about innovation, sustainability and startup. As the name indicates ‘Yuva’ was the centre of this programme. ‘Yuvamanthan’ is a way to realize their potential. The Bharat Supernova will lead to realization of Bharat’s hidden potential. The coordinator of the Programme was Dr. Swati Gupta, Assistant Professsor, Dept. of Teacher Education, CUSB. The eminent speaker of the programme Prof. Brajesh Kumar, Head, Dept. of Commerce & Business Studies enriched the students with his wide knowledge and experience.
Prof. Venktesh Singh welcomed the eminent speaker Prof. Brajesh Kumar, Participants and faculty members. Then participants were made aware about Yuvamanthan Hackathon by Dr. Swati Gupta. The deliberation of the speaker started with the explanation of revolutions that shaped the human race and mentioned that innovation is the process of bringing about new ideas, methods and products. He emphasized on artificial intelligence that it will endanger the jobs of many people around the world. He stated that “A point is enough to create a universe”. Then the discussion went on ‘major inventions that have revolutionized the world’. He also made students aware of ‘Key components for innovation ecosystem’ and ‘Process of Innovation’ so that students will get curious about innovative ideas and will get ability to develop innovative ideas. Then he gave reason, by analysis that why some types of societies are more innovative than others to understand cultural, social, educational influence on innovations. Types of innovation, their examples, Indian and Western Invention & Innovations are the topics which were discussed further in the event. Considering the innovations of India (Idea of Pancha Mahabhut, Ashram Vyawastha, Yoga Vidya, Ayurveda etc.) he stated that in past India was group oriented and in present time it is more individualistic. Indian innovations like Vedic Mathematics, Bhaskara’s Wheel, Simputer, Julia (programming language) etc. failed to be commercialized but now it is the need of the hour to rectify it and do startups.
Startup creates opportunity for any idea to be commercialized. Some of the best startups in time as mentioned by Prof. Brajesh is starting customized tuition which would help any learner to improve his/her skill. Today’s generation is dealing with loneliness and depression so he suggested spiritual tourism, Vedic Vastu Shastra, Bhagwat Geeta sermon as startups to be commercialized. He emphasized and focused on incremental innovation which would help any Indian startup to dominate western startup. At last, he asked the audience if they are prepared for the startups and urged to develop skill set needed for it, one of which is having knowledge of Sanskrit which would help us to decode previously written knowledge in Indian Scriptures (Granthas).
Dr. Swati Gupta thanked Prof. Brajesh for his effort to make this event successful. Then a question-answer session was held to address the queries and clarify the doubts of participants. Then Dr. Kishor Sodhi (Assistant Prof. DTE) paid his gratitude to the eminent speaker, participants and other faculty members. The programme was attended by 95 participants and faculty members like Prof. Venketesh Singh, Prof. Bhudendra, Prof. Amiy, Dr. Pawas, Dr. Renu, Dr. Rachna, Dr. Angad and Dr. Lakhwinder.
युवमंथन हैकथॉन; भारत की पुनर्कल्पना: विकसित भारत के लिए भविष्य के मार्ग
युवामंथन हैकथॉन के तत्वावधान में 22 फरवरी, 2024 को सीयूएसबी में एक ऑनलाइन वार्ता, ‘रीइमेजिनिंग इंडिया: फ्यूचर एवेन्यूज फॉर विकसित भारत’ का आयोजन किया गया था। इस आयोजन का मुख्य उद्देश्य नवाचार, स्थिरता और स्टार्टअप के बारे में जागरूकता पैदा करना था। जैसा कि नाम से पता चलता है, ‘युवा’ इस कार्यक्रम का केंद्र था। ‘युवामंथन’ उनकी क्षमता को साकार करने का एक तरीका है. कार्यक्रम की समन्वयक सीयूएसबी के शिक्षक शिक्षा विभाग की सहायक प्रोफेसर डॉ. स्वाति गुप्ता थीं। कार्यक्रम के प्रख्यात वक्ता प्रो.ब्रजेश कुमार, अध्यक्ष, वाणिज्य एवं व्यवसाय अध्ययन विभाग ने अपने व्यापक ज्ञान एवं अनुभव से विद्यार्थियों को समृद्ध किया। कार्यक्रम के आरंभ में प्रोफेसर वेंकेटेश सिंह ने वक्ता प्रोफेसर ब्रजेश कुमार, प्रतिभागियों और संकाय सदस्यों का स्वागत किया। फिर डॉ. स्वाति गुप्ता द्वारा प्रतिभागियों को युवामंथन हैकाथॉन के बारे में जागरूक किया गया। व्याख्यान की शुरुरात मानव जाति को आकार देने वाली क्रांतियों की के साथ हुई और संसार के विभिन्न देशों ने कैसे नवाचार के जरिये विकास किया, इस बात का उल्लेख किया गया. नवाचार नए विचारों, तरीकों और उत्पादों को लाने की प्रक्रिया है जो समाज हित में कार्य करती हैं।
मुख्य वक्ता ने अपने उल्लेख में कहा कि “एक बिंदु ब्रह्मांड बनाने के लिए पर्याप्त है”। फिर चर्चा ‘प्रमुख आविष्कारों जिन्होंने दुनिया में क्रांति ला दी’ पर चली। उन्होंने छात्रों को ‘नवाचार पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र के लिए प्रमुख घटकों’ और ‘नवाचार की प्रक्रिया’ से भी अवगत कराया ताकि छात्रों में नवीन विचारों के बारे में जिज्ञासा बढ़े और उन्हें नवीन विचारों को विकसित करने की क्षमता मिले। फिर उन्होंने विश्लेषण द्वारा कारण बताया कि नवाचारों पर सांस्कृतिक, सामाजिक, शैक्षिक प्रभाव को समझने के लिए कुछ प्रकार के समाज दूसरों की तुलना में अधिक नवीन क्यों हैं। भारत के नवाचारों (पंच महाभूत, आश्रम व्यवस्था, योग विद्या, आयुर्वेद आदि) पर विचार करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि अतीत में भारत समूह उन्मुख था और वर्तमान समय में यह अधिक व्यक्तिवादी है। वैदिक गणित, भास्कर व्हील, सिम्प्यूटर, जूलिया (प्रोग्रामिंग भाषा) आदि जैसे भारतीय नवाचार व्यावसायीकरण में विफल रहे, लेकिन वर्तमान समय की मांग स्टार्टअप हैं। स्टार्टअप किसी भी विचार के व्यावसायीकरण के लिए अवसर पैदा करता है। जैसा कि प्रोफ़ेसर ब्रजेश ने बताया है, वर्तमान समय के कुछ बेहतरीन स्टार्टअप अनुकूलित ट्यूशन शुरू कर रहे हैं जो किसी भी शिक्षार्थी को अपने कौशल में सुधार करने में मदद करेगा। आज की पीढ़ी अकेलेपन और अवसाद से जूझ रही है इसलिए उन्होंने स्टार्टअप के रूप में आध्यात्मिक पर्यटन, वैदिक वास्तु शास्त्र, भगवत गीता उपदेश का व्यवसायीकरण करने का सुझाव दिया। अंत में, उन्होंने प्रतिभागियों से पूछा कि क्या वे स्टार्टअप के लिए तैयार हैं और इसके लिए आवश्यक कौशल विकसित करने का आग्रह किया, जिनमें से एक है संस्कृत का ज्ञान जो हमें भारतीय शास्त्रों (ग्रंथों) में पहले से लिखे गए ज्ञान को डिकोड करने में मदद करेगा।
डॉ. स्वाति गुप्ता ने इस आयोजन को सफल बनाने के प्रयास के लिए प्रोफेसर ब्रजेश को धन्यवाद दिया। फिर प्रतिभागियों के प्रश्नों को संबोधित करने और संदेहों को दूर करने के लिए एक प्रश्न-उत्तर सत्र आयोजित किया गया। फिर डॉ. किशोर सोढ़ी (सहायक प्रोफेसर डीटीई) ने प्रख्यात वक्ता, प्रतिभागियों और अन्य संकाय सदस्यों के प्रति आभार व्यक्त किया। कार्यक्रम में प्रोफेसर वेंकेटेश सिंह, प्रोफेसर भूदेंद्र, प्रोफेसर अमिय प्रियं, डॉ. पावस, डॉ. रेनू, डॉ. रचना, डॉ. अंगद और डॉ. लखविंदर के साथ साथ अन्य संकाय सदस्यों तथा 95 प्रतिभागियों ने भाग लिया।
