Viksit Bharat @ 2047 at Department of Sociological Studies
Under Viksit Bharat @2047, a special discussion was organized under the guidance of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh on the topic “The Empowered Indian” at the Department of Sociological Studies, Central University of South Bihar. In today’s program, all the teachers of the department presented their views regarding Viksit Bharat @2047. It began with a thought-provoking address by Dr. Priya Ranjan. He said that this journey of development of India is moving from Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat to Shaksham Bharat and cherishing the dream of developed India. Here he focused that the youth of the country have an invaluable contribution through their action.
Dr. Parijat Pradhan said that I am positive for the enthusiasm of the youth for a developed India dream. Dr. Jitendra Ram highlighted that today there is a need for inclusive and holistic education as it is an important aspect of both security and health of the people in the country. Dr. Sanat Sharma spoke about the need of positive activity with optimistic thinking for a great goal. Professor Anil Kumar Singh Jha emphasised that developed India is about developing both self and society. Dr. Aditya Mohanty advocated that to achieve the goal of developed India, it should be made free from all kinds of prejudice, stereotyping and discrimination.
Prof. M. Vijay Kumar Sharma, Head of the Department enlightened that Viksit Bharat@ 2047 contains the vision of a bright future for our nation. And the participation of youth and their ideas are very important for the fulfilment of this vision. In this program, along with the faculty members students from all programmes like Ph D, MA and MSW participated and elaborated their ideological and creative views for developed India in 2047.
